I love to experience new things.  I love trying new foods, new languages, new ideas through movies, books and music.  I started studying Kabbalah in 1999 and started practicing Ashtanga yoga in 2000, which led me to the philosophy as well, which led to Hinduism, Buddhism and most other -isms.  I love all things Eastern and love trying to work them into Western minds at any opportunity I receive.  I love studying each philosophy or spiritual path to such a degree that I see where they link to another thing and then eventually to everything else as they always seem to. Thats probably why I love languages as well.  You can start seeing where the root of one word ends up sounding like this other word in this other language that just happens to end up meaning the same thing.  Fascinating to think we all actually may have come from a common area and we have gotten so far away from that that we can no longer remember that we actually are all human being on the same planet.  For gods sake watch a few Star Trek episodes.  They usually are dealing with a planet that all have the one problem.  I always wondered why they never ran into a planet like ours, divided so much that we don't even realize anothers problems, maybe not even that far away.  Or Star Wars for that matter, where we are all just a part of an all-emcompassing unifying force.  Amazing to realize that, not in your head, but in your heart.  The truth of that one fact alone.
